The Optics BR-100 19″ 1RU frame is a modular and flexible fibre-optic solution, housing up to 16 optical extender modules with the flexibility to handle multi-rate SDI formats, extending signals to 20Km.

Modules include, Multi-rate SDI Extender, AES-3id Audio Extender, RS-422/RS-232 Extender, Ethernet Extender and Multiplexer/De-multiplexer.

All extenders and dual power supplying modules are hot-swappable, allowing stable operation without any disruption or disconnection. This integrated top-performing system supports high definition formats including 3Gbps signal and each of the various extenders are also available in a compact stand-alone type to be incorporated into any broadcast workflow from small studio and OB vans to master control room.

The TPA-MHL-8R is a new Test Point Adapter (TPA) that lets you conduct tests on MHL source and MHL display devices. Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) is a video interface derived from HDMI but targeted to provide an interface from mobile devices like smart phones to TVs or other displays. The MHL standard is designed to connect to smart phones by reusing the existing 5 pin micro-USB connector that many phones have rather than requiring a separate 19 pin HDMI connector. The MHL cable is micro-USB on the source mobile device and HDMI Type A on the other end.

Quantum Data offers a comprehensive suite of test solutions for testing MHL source and sink devices. The centerpiece of these solutions is the new test point adapter (TPA-MHL-8R) that converts MHL streams to HDMI and HDMI streams to MHL. The TPA-MHL-8R enables basic emulation, functional testing, protocol analysis as well as MHL compliance testing and HDCP compliance testing of your MHL source and sink devices. MHL source and sink compliance testing requires the Quantum Data 980 Protocol Analyzer. HDCP compliance testing requires the Quantum Data 882EA.

Matrix Routers
Switch between 36 DVI, HDMI or HD-SDI sources to 36 digital displays and audio devices with OMM2000. This is one of many Matrix Routers we offer, as well as up to 36 x 36 DVI and 8 x 8 HDMI Matrix Routers.

Distributors/Selectors
We offer many combinations of DVI and HDMI Distributors, including 1 x 5, 3 x 10 and 4 x 2. Many of our units support HDCP, so that you don’t have to worry about switching encrypted digital video.
